Cameron Stracher is the author, most recently, of The Curve (co-authored with Jeremy Blachman), a humorous novel , about a third-rate law school set on the banks of the toxic Gowanus Canal, and which was optioned by NBC for television. His memoir, Dinner with Dad, was also optioned for television by 3Arts Entertainment. His other books include the YA dystopian thriller, The Water Wars, a novel, The Laws of Return, a memoir, Double Billing, and a non-fiction book about the 1970’s running boom, Kings of the Road, which was named the best book of the year in 2016 by the Track & Field Writer’s Association of America. His reviews, essays and opinion pieces have been published in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and many other places.
When Cameron is not writing, he is a media lawyer whose clients include The National Enquirer, the producers of the Emmy award-winning television series Leah Remini: Scientology and Its Aftermath and the hit television series Live PD. He is a graduate of Amherst College, Harvard Law School, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
